I'm sure this is a fairly generic problem, but I didn't know where else to turn. I'm the proud(?) new owner of a 15" Macbook Pro, switching over from an outdated Windows laptop. So yes, I'm a switcher. For now.
Right out of the box the MBP worked fine, Internet was set, everything was awesome. Then we had a little hiccup in our internet service (Comcast); don't know what it was but it was out for like 2 days. Now, I'm able to connect to the Internet with no problem on my Windows laptop, but Mac - although AirPort sees the network and says there's a strong signal - won't connect (if I connect in the little window thing, it says "Connection failed.") I've tried unplugging the router and the modem - we do have a Microsoft router - and letting them sit for a minute or two and then plugging them back in, but still no luck. I've restarted several times and still no luck. What I'm concerned about is that it worked fine just a few days ago, and I've only had this Mac for about a week now.
I have an iPod touch and it connects just fine as well.
Any advice would be appreciated!
