hey, guys. Just got a MacBook last Friday. I love everything about it but one thing: Safari crashes when I try to play video on some web sites. (And the video used to play on my PowerBook). I've tried turning Flip4Mac on, and then off. But no luck.

Any suggestions? Is this a known problem for some sites with new Intel Macs?
The sites are DallasNews.com (video on right side) or WFAA.com video.

Thanks.

Yeah it crashes my iMac as well. I think it is a problem with their web site. I tried it with Flip4Mac and Windows Media Player, and it crashed both times. It seems to be crashing before it even attempts to load the video, so I think they messed their site up. Your processor should have nothing to do with whether it works or not.

Ya know it was so late last night I didn't think to try a different browser. It doesn't seem to work in Firefox, but it does work in Camino. So download Camino and use that if you want to play the videos.

Must be some wonderfully coded websites :)
