Internet woes

I have a 2.1ghz intel mac. with 4 gb ram in. I recently started having a problem where I can only connect to a wireless internet when I have my ac adapter connected.

What could be the problem?

When I am not connected to the ac adapter the computer will connect to a wireless network but will not connect to the internet.

A lot of people are having the same problem as you. It seems to have been triggered by the 10.5.8 update to the operating system.

Try searching MRoogle for the term "10.5.8 wireless airport issues" and take a browse through the topics that pop up. I would supply you with a list but my battery is on 2% and I don't want the laptop dying on me.
