internet won't connect--ip address

so my husband was trying to get the wep key for the internet to connect at his ps3. he went to the ip address website & changed some security information which gave us a new password. later when i got to the macbook, internet wont work. it shows me a full bar, but when i go to network it says airport does not have an ip address and cannot connect to the internet. help pls?

If you lost the WiFi password just reset the router back to factory defaults and set it up again. Make sure to use WPA2 encryption as WEP is useless.
