Hi.. i just bought a macbook and i installed bittorrent but i can't download files.. are there some settings i need to configure? i already disabled firewall but still to no avail.. btw, i can surf the net with no problem... help a mac newbie pls.. tnx...

I don't know which client you have, as there are several of them.
Just open the BT client, go to Preferences (CMD+,) and see if there is a NETWORK section/tab and look at the Incoming TCP port settings.

I can't help you to unblock the TCP ports though, if that is a problem. Google might help you with finding the right TCP port though.
