internet works perfectly but not on cydia

i have a 3gs on 4.0.2, jailbroken with limera1n. i can connect on wifi and visit websites but once i try to go onto cydia i get the unable to load message and my connection fine

EDIT: in safari i can surf cydia fine

Maybe cydia is blocked by your Internet provider.
Try it on another wifi location or using your carriers data if you have any.
