Hi all.
I have just purchased a Seagate FreeAgent 500Gb external HD. All is cool except when I put the MAc to sleep. The mac powers down, but then the 'Pshhh' noise signals the drive ejecting & the mac wakes back up informing me that the drive was put away incorrectly & that data loss may have occured. I have tried ejecting the drive first then sleeping to no avail, same prob.
Is the only way to avoid this removing the power/usb cable from the drive before sleeping?
Cheers for any comments.
