Perhaps this has been asked before, but I haven't found it after a search. I have filled my circles daily but it's with some bending of the titles. When I do my workouts most days, it means walking and running intervals. Do I choose 'Walking'? 'Running? If doing equal times, it seems hard to choose.

Some days, when I do heavy cleaning in my home, I choose 'Play'. Believe me! Washing floors, cleaning the bathrooms, and vacuuming the house is NOT Play, but it IS exercise. I can't find anything else, other than Play to put it in. Why can't we come out with our own categories??

Anyone come up with a way to workaround the preset categories?? Thanks for your input. :)

For intervals I set a running workout and lets say your doing 8 laps on a track, after each lap you can double tap the face of the watch and it will record that as a segment. You could apply the same technique to your run/walk. Say you start out running tap twice when you walk then tap twice when you run again. You can view the segments under the activity app under that workout.

[doublepost=1531780364][/doublepost]I don't think I understand. if I've chosen indoor run as an example, how does double tapping change my indoor run to indoor walk?

It doesn’t but it’s a work around to at least track your run time and your walk time. You had said you do equal run and walk and this is one way to track your time. It’s the only way I know to do what your wanting, not perfect but may work.

Thanks. Not sure it solves my problem but thanks for taking the time to tell me about it and then explain for me.

For custom named Workout:
  1. Start a workout and choose Other.
  2. When you’re done, swipe right, then tap End.
  3. Tap Name Workout.
  4. Tap the type of workout, then tap Save.

I understand what you've said and believe me, I've looked. There is no 'heavy cleaning' or 'run/walk' intervals. Thank you for your reply, though. I appreciate that you took the time to make it. I just think that we should have at least one 'other' devoted to whatever activity we choose to put there.
