Can't you just make a rectangular image of the right size in an image editor and fill it with black? Or take a photo with your camera's lens cap on (set to a short exposure on manual/shutter priority if possible) then set that as the background? Or make a black Keynote slide, export it as a JPEG then change the size in Preview, then use that?

Or Google...lol. Takes less than 10 seconds.
 
Thanks. I discovered how to put invisible black icons so that they can be positioned to push live icons lower and within reach on a 6 plus.
 
Here's the layout I chose for spacing icons on the black background. This allows me to thumb the closest row and use fingers for the further row. All without undue hand manipulation and allowing a good grab onto the phone.

And then Reachability brings the top of the two rows into reach.

Off topic but what case is that?
 
It's the Zoogue Social Pro. Outstanding sleeper of a case. Social Pro covers many bases, one being excellent grip. I swap it out with my Magpul just for fun sometimes.
