Introducing "Taximeter for car2go" app

Hello everyone,
after weeks of hard work I'm finally releasing my very first app on the App Store. The idea is very simple. Have you ever heard of car2go, the popular carsharing service? I use it very often and I simply love it! It almost works like a Taxi cab with the (big) exception that there's absolutely no way to know how much you're spending while you're renting the car… that's why I've created "Taximeter for car2go"!

Here's part of the App Store description:

Admit it: every time you drive a car2go there is a question that haunts you : “how much am I spending?” Be smart and start saving up money. Get “Taximeter for car2go”, the only app that keeps track of the car2go rental price in real time!

“Taximeter for car2go” is provided with a simple and intuitive user interface, while its features are studied to easily work while you are inside the car. This way you can concentrate on the most important thing: driving.

Once the vehicle is open, press the Start button and begin your trip. For every minute that goes by, “Taximeter for car2go” automatically updates the total rental price.

We did think of everything: “Taximeter for car2go” is a reliable odometer, too. If you exceed the distance limit allowed by your rate, the charge for every extra km/mile will be automatically included.

Safety is no joke: we have indeed integrated a convenient mode that, if activated, will read out lout the rental price when each minute is up (make sure silent mode is disabled). This way you will not get distracted by your iPhone and that old lady that is crossing the street will safely get to the other side.

Has your rental ended? Press the Stop button and confirm your selection. “Taximeter for car2go” will keep a history of the trips you’ve made. You will have everything under control!

The app is currently being reviewed by Apple and should be available shortly. In the mean time I'd like to invite 10 willing beta testers (and car2go members) to try the app in advance and receive some feedback! Contact me via PM.
