Hey guys I've been on the forum before but I forgot my information so I made a new account. Anyways, I've been having a nagging problem with signing up for things online. Whenever I type in my email address, for some reason, it always tells me that the "email address is invalid." I type my email address correctly and check it a million times, but it still happens often. Any ideas? Could it be something with my Macbook Pro? It's getting really aggravating!

you don't accidently put in a space at the end of the field do you?

I mean like this:

123ABC@hotmail.com[space]

Would putting a space affect it in any way?

yes, because many fields such as email fields will forbid certain characters from being typed in, for example if a field asked for a phone number and you typed in a letter, the field will recognise this and say "try again" or something.

The same is likely for your email.

Alternatively, you were using an email that is not acceptable for the purposes of this forum, it's in the FAQ soemwhere.

thank you so much, Lucifiel! You are a God. hahaha your advice solved my problem. :D
