Invalid Profile using BENM.AT on my 3GS 3.01

Here's my info:
3GS with OS 3.01 FM# 04.26.08
SN# XX93XXXXXXXX
All I want to do is tether.
I followed one of the many YouTube videos on how to tether using help.benm.at/index.php
After I select AT&T and download, I get an Invalid Profile, Profile format not recognized.

Any ideas what I need to do to make this work?
Also, is there a better way to tether without jailbreaking?
