Good evening to all the mac people!

I am trying to help a friend of mine get his macbook working again. He was running limewire, and several other apps and the computer froze. He shut the machine down only to retry at a later time, and got a "no" sign on a white background. I placed the osx disk in and hit the "c" and brought up the utilities. When I pressed first aid, Invalid Volume header came up, and then after checking HFS Plus Volume, it said Invalid B Tree node size.

I've noticed in the list of drives to the left, the 74.5 GB Hitachi is in bold black, the Macintosh hd is in subdued grey and the 5.0 GB Matshitacd and mac os x install are all in bold black as well. It will not repair the volume, says volume needs repair in red.

Am I looking at a failed HD here? I hear Mac people refer to disk warrior? Is this an error that could be fixed by DW?? Any help is appreciated.
