Ha, that is good - nothing like rumor mongering ;)

"The pro-war Sun, Britain's biggest-selling daily, said that US President George W. Bush would give Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein a 72-hour ultimatum to disarm next week after a crucial Security Council vote. "

Isn't the Sun the one with the topless page3 girls? (probably why its the biggest-selling daily, not for its news.....) :D

This story is from the Daily Telegraph. I don't think it is a tabloid, but it is probably owned by Rubert Murdoch who is 100% pro war and pro Bush. But the British are more casual about things. I heard they even allow full frontal nudity on broadcast TV.

The story may be from the Daily Telegraph, but it cites an article in a tabloid. It's right there in the first or second paragraph.

FYI, The Telegraph is not owned by the Australian-American Murdoch (as are the Sun and The Times), but by the Canadian Conrad Black. The Telegraph is a "serious" right-leaning broadsheet, not given to rumour-mongering.

Hopefully, nobody gets gased or runs over a land mine.

yes, because it would be really outrageous if they responded to our family friendly 'high tech bombing campaign' with such dirty and 'so last century' weapons...
