Say Best Buy still has a whole bunch of the old MBP's when the new ones come out. What do they do with them? Send them back to apple? Sell them for cheap?

dunno about bestbuy but when I worked at sears items that are discontinued got a .01 price tag and got sent back to wherever we got it from. Found an boxed N64 and I sent it back to the void.

they get a clearance price the second we have the new models...

as an example i believe the old imacs dropped anywhere from 10-20% when the new ones came out.

and we sold the old display one that was priced at 1700 or 1800 for like 1200

some of the best buys last nov./dec had MBP for $1200-1300. Next time make sure you get there before someone post the $$ on the web.
