Hi all,

I have a macbook pro (2008 model).

Unfortunately a juice container opened up in my bag today and my laptop encountered some liquid damage. I was able to open it up and check everything. The logic board seemed dry. However, the led display is not turning on but the machine is booting up fine. I was able to connect an external monitor and I am typing from here. At first, I thought it was the inverter board but my camera is working perfectly fine in photo booth! So it can't be the inverter board, correct? Or am I wrong?

I would appreciate any feedback!
thanks all

By the way...I do see some moisture behind the lcd

Shine back some light behind the apple logo, if you can see what is on the screen then it is your backlight circuitry/inverter board.
