I am brand new to Macs and my DH has given me the most gorgeous little macbook 
However, it doesnt seem to be able to "see" our airport signal. It picks up the network across the street and the one down the road but not the one sitting within inches of the chair! My DH has his G4 happily connected and we have made sure that we have the right name and password but it refuses to acknowledge there even is an airport signal. I have seen it listed a couple of times - after a series of airport on, airport off manouvers but even then, the continue button doesnt become active when we have put the password in.
I am sure that there must be a very obvious solution but I have no idea what it is and DH is similarly stumped.
