Hi, I'm running mac os x 10.4.11 on a 1ghz Emac.

In my macintosh HD folder, when I get the info I only have 5.8 GB space left on my 80GB drive. MY users folder apparently contains 53.07GB, and within this folder I have 'finn's stuff' with 17GB inside and 'Andy' with 35GB (don't ask why!) inside.

However, when I open up finns stuff, which as far as i'm aware doesn't contain anything which i use, i can't find any folders which are anywhere near 17GB, in fact none of them are even over 1gb. Why would finder tell me i have 17GB in there but I can't seem to find much in there apart from desktop, documents, music, movie folders etc, none with anything in them!

Please help, apologies if this makes little sense..

Not sure what you mean by limewire, i've never used it on this computer.

It was an invisible 15gb .trash file that was causing the confusion! Got rid of that now, so all is good, thankyou mr. Yellow.
