I just got my 3G replaced and was thinking of actually trying to keep it scratch free this time. For some reason I didn't really care on the last one.

Anybody know where I can maybe get the IS installed professionally? I've done it a few times before but could do without the PITA. Plus I've heard it's especially difficult with the 3G.

Thanks!

Professionally? It's not to hard, and I'm a perfectionist when it comes to things like that. You can do it, it can just take some time.

I know. I did it on my BB Pearl, my first iPhone, and my sisters iPod Touch. Point is I don't want to do it again. I'd prefer to pay to have somebody do it.

Dude, I don't know advertises this service and who'll do it. You could go to the geek squad and maybe they'll do it for a fee or to an independent computer/cell phone/ place.

Or ask someone who has done it to do it.

thats BS, installing the invisible shield is definitely not easy

lets see spray some water on the back of the film and align it correctly on the screen and squeege the remaining water out.... seems pretty easy to me. Zagg seems to think so too.

"....The installation is simple"

Not sure if you're aware but there are actual IS kiosks that offer this service. This isn't a "I'm lazy. Somebody do it for me" type of thing.

I want it done professionally. Can I can get useful info from those willing to help?

I know invisible shield kiosks at malls will install them for free if you have one nearby. Other than that I'm not sure where to find someone.

I'll continue forward and do what I probably did before and get back to the subject of the thread. Thanks to all who contributed.

I got mine and my wifes professionally done at a BodyGuardz kiosk in the Stonebriar mall in Frisco Texas. They did a wonderful job. Took her 10 minutes no lie.
