Which one is better a better screen protector? The InvisibleSHIELD or Power Support Anti Glare Film for my iPod Touch?

agree with previous poster

Invisible shield is a lot tougher and wears better. It does however alter the feel and look of the screen in a negative was (drops screen sharpness and has "orange peel" look. Main advantage is you only need to buy it once as it has a lifetime guarantee.
Power support IMO improves the feel of the screen (more tactile) it does make the screen less vivid but it resists finger prints very well. No warranty at all but you do get two in the box. I have just changed to the second one after 3 months use so not bad. Would work out £20 a year so not to pricey.

Application on I.S. is easier to get right due to use of fluid that allows you to adjust it and also makes sure there is zero dust under the protector.
Power support is harder to get straight and virtually impossible to get zero dust.

I have used both (I.S. on old ipod touch and P.S. on iphone) I much prefer the Power Support

Hope this helps

OK, if you have one, get an orange. Look at the peel and how it has that unique texture and that is a lot like the texture of invisibleshield. It's clear and all but not like glass clear.

Look at this picture.

I think that is a bit over exaggerated. I don't even notice this orange peel "effect" unless the screen is turned off and I hold the phone so I see a glare on the screen. No big deal. :D

+1 for the Invisible Shield. Just like the rumors of Mark Twain's death, the orange peel textured look is highly exaggerated.

So the orange texture will not ruin the iPod Touch's usability? Also, what about the SGP Steinheil Anti-Fingerprint?

Another Opinion

I use InvisibleShield on my blackberry, camera and 2 iPods, including my touch. I think it's fantastic. Perfect clarity, great touch sensitivity. I find the minor texture adds a touch more grip and anti-glare. It's easy to apply and has excellent coverage. Great investment. Do it.

+1 for Power Support. Has a couple nicks on it but even though I have a spare one sitting around, I'm keeping this one as long as possible. No smudges, no scratches, finger glides smoothly... perfection :D Had it for over 6 months now.

A friend has the powersupport anti-glare and when i saw his iPhone with it on i knew i couldn't cope with it myself ... the shield has a rough texture and while it does stop glare its also slightly blury

I use the powersupport crystal film and i don't even notice its there anymore ... i had problems with the Invisibleshield (vertical purple stripe appearance after application) and their customer support were no help.

I have an InvisibleShield on my iPod Touch, MBP, LCD for a DSLR and point & shoot camera along with a PSP and Instinct. I think the tacky film is only a problem for people who have sweaty hands and fingers. I like the tacky feel, it provides a better grip while handling the device.

Good luck.

So the ivisible shield or the powersupport will work with my Rebeltouch case right?

I love the Power Support anti glare. Provides awesome tactile feedback. Invisishield distorts the screen very slightly and is a pai nto get on- they work great, but the power support fits with most any case and works beautifully.

Power Support all the way! I've had one on the iPod for nearly nine months now with no probs! I have the crystal (clear) version, but did have the anti-glare one. I prefer the Crystal one as you can't 'see' it.

if you're going to get an invisible shield...

buy it form www.bestskinsever.com . They are exactly the same thing for like $7. It doesn't come with a warranty, but the ones from invisibleshield cost $3 in shipping every time you want to replace it lol, so really, its not free. You would have to go through 4 skins before you even spent the $25 for the one from invisibleshield. trust me, i've been through this.
