Invisions Technical Arts jusst released Droptext, the first text editor for iOS devices that can open, edit, and save text files from Dropbox. Just login with your Dropbox account and you have access to all of your files. Droptext can edit any file with a text mime type (ex. TXT, HTML, PHP).

can't you do the same with http://www.dataviz.com/products/documentstogo/iphone/ and you can edit excel, powerpoint and word plus create them as well.

Yes and no. Documents to Go is a document editor. Yes it can edit/create *.txt files as well but that is where it stops.

Droptext allows you to edit any text file. It is designed more for programmers who deal with text files all day.
