Inviting from the Calendar app

I know how to create a calendar event on the iPhone, and assign it a calendar (work, home, fun, etc.) but is there a way - from the iPhone - to invite somebody else to that event from my iPhone? I know how to do it from the computer in iCal, but I don't see a way in the calendar app on the phone.
