Iomega Rev & Snow Leopard

I just spent $$$ for a 120 Gb Rev drive and disks. I connected the Rev drive to my snow leopard mac and it doesn't work. It will read the disks but not write. So what's up?

Iomega has a message on their website that the Rev is not compatible with Snow Leopard "...due to a UDF driver conflict that will not be fixed."

Does the mean that Iomega won't update a simple driver to Snow Leopard? Is Iomega giving up on the Mac? Can someone explain this to me?

I learned my Iomega lesson after that POS ZIP Drive that came in my brand spanking new Micron PC (Pentium 200 MHz +MMX). Frankly, I'm surprised that company still exists.
