I was at an Apple Store today because I can't decide between Space Gray vs Space Black, and looking at the two displays it looked like the Ion-X looked a little sharper and clearer than the sapphire display. Anybody else notice this too? I wonder if Ion-X Glass is inherently more clear than the sapphire displays?

After wearing the steel AW it felt funny how light in weight the aluminum was. I think the Space Black looks better, but it also cost $220 more, and since I've been upgrading every year and anticipate upgrading new year, I am seriously considering the Space Gray since the steel models depreciate greatly. What's your opinion on this matter, would you get the Space Gray or the Space Black?

This article explains everything you need to know between the Sapphire and Ion-X display with reflectivity.

"The two models have identical OLED displays internally, but thanks to the different outer coverings, the different models react uniquely in bright light situations. In summary, the site found that the Apple Watch with sapphire crystal display reflects 74 percent more ambient light than the Ion-X glass of the Sport model. The two displays behave almost identically in dark environments given the low levels of ambient light available for reflection. "
