iOS 10 download time

i have iPhone 6s Plus. I am in US. I am downloading iOS 10 from previous iOS and so far taking 3 hours. Computer screen has message that iTunes is downloading software update. Curious as to how long others have taken for download to complete. I have very fast internet connection(50/50). Thx.

At 5:30pm EDT, I started the update via iTunes for my iPhone 6+ on a 75/75 FiOS connection. It took just over an hour to completely download and install the 2.47GB update. I'm still downloading the update for my iPad mini 2, it's been almost an hour. I'm guessing Apple's servers are more loaded at this time of day.
