I just updated my iPad mini 4 to iOS 10 and ... surprise, I cannot anymore login using my fingerprint in just one step as in iOS 9. I have first to unlock the device with Touch ID or passcode and then to press the home button to login. Obviously Apple wants us to break our home buttons in order to make us buy new iPads. I cannot explain otherwise this tripping step back.

For the time being, the workaround that I have is to unlock the iPad and then launch one application suggested by Siri; then quit the application and I am in. Like that, it is not necessary to press the home button. Is there some more simple way? Or downgrading to iOS 9 is my only option for now to completely restore this functionality?

Thanks!
