When in silent mode, the three tone alert still sounds when the iPhone reaches 20% battery. Silent mode otherwise functions as it should. The alert sounds is the same one that you hear if you are on a phone call and the battery reaches 20%.

This is very odd and has never happened to me before. Any tips?

Edit: on an Apple discussion thread someone claimed this was a feature on all Chinese sold iPhones. I recently had my European iPhone swapped out for a Chinese iPhone - could this be true?
