Am i right in thinking whatever you purchase from the messages app store on your iphone doesn't sync with your ipad?

I bought some apps last night on my iphone but cant see them on my ipad.

Any ideas?

Open iMessage on the iPad, click on app store and on the "+" - here you can see your purchases.
