Hi,
I noticed with iOS 11, the OS auto capitalizes a lot of 'non names' words as long as they are in my contacts. For example, if I save a contact called Jason Tennis, iOS tends to capitalize the word 'tennis'. So 'tennis' becomes 'Tennis' even if the word appears in the middle of a sentence. It happens to a lot of other words as well, such as 'cleaner', 'cleaning', 'manager', 'how' (which is a common chinese surname in south east asia) etc.
I contacted Apple Support who in turn asked me to refresh my iOS. But I am pretty sure this is an OS issue which reformat won't help. My other friends are facing the same too.
Not only this, typing 'iphone' at the start of the sentence does not change the word to 'iPhone', but it changes to 'IPhone'. Which isn't right in Apple's so called perfectionist landscape ya?
Can someone who has connection to Apple iOS team reach out to them and find an answer to these issues?
