I don't currently have the iOS 11 beta installed on any of my devices and was wondering if someone who does would be able to answer a quick question. I watched the WWDC event a few times and read through the Apple website but didn't see anything that answered the particular question I have. My question is, does anyone know if you are able to lock created files or folders within the file app with a passcode/password/Touch ID similar to how you can lock a note in the Notes app? It's been on my wishlist for quite some time to have the ability to passcode/Touch ID protect photos within the camera roll, but it has never come to be. I know there is an option to hide pictures, but this does not hide them from the camera roll which is where I reckon most people probably view their photos on their devices. I've also dealt with many third party apps that can lock photos/documents/anything else away, but I've always hoped to see Apple implement a feature like this in the Photos app. If they can create a lock feature within the Notes app, I'm sure they could do it within photos as well.
I appreciate anyone taking the time to check into this.
Thank you.
