ios 11 heating up iphone 7

Simple question: It seems that my iphone 7 heats up pretty quick with every kind of activity (music, video, calling, even browsing and texting a few messages) I am afraid that someone ios 11 kills my battery life forever, this iphone has about 4 months opened.

Please tell me its not just me.
