iOS 11 Personal hotspot, does it turn off after 24 hours always?

Hi, have unlimited data over in these parts, so the phone is my entire internet connection at home.

I used to just leave personal hotspot on, 24-7, and it never turned off using iOS 10.
In iOS 11, is there a way to prevent personal hotspot from turning off after 24 hours?

The new control center behavior is beyond unintuitive. Why doesn't off mean off and on mean on? Seems to be classic overthinking on Apple's part.

For the mobile data it just as earlier though: on = on & off = off so the control center isn't the problem.
For the hotspot I don't know, could it be that Low Power Mode gets activated and disables it? Could also be a feature so people don't use all their mobile data accidentally
