iOS 11 Save to iCloud Question?

Two things that really bother me both are to do with when I want to save a photo or photos to iCloud Drive. I am wondering if they have been changed for iOS11 if anyone is able to tell me.

First issue - I can't easily add a photo to my computer desktop. I go to share, add to icloud drive, and am presented with all my folders, all expanded, the desktop is there somewhere but it's a ridiculous layout. I just save it near the top and have to go move it later.

Second issue - Why can I add one photo to iCloud Drive but if I select two photos the option is gone. Can I send multiple photos to iCloud Drive in iOS11?
