iOS 11 slow when switching apps

In iOS 10 I had the feeling of very quick app swichting. Apps were closing almost instantly. On iOS 11 that is not the case anymore. I tested it with the following devices side by side:

- iPhone 7 with iOS 10
- iPhone 8 with iOS 11

Is anyone else able to conduct a direct comparison between the two iOS on iPhone? Please test closing one app and opening another on the home screen. The difference is quite noticable.
