I must be missing something, because I haven’t noticed any signal / data performance issues on my Xs Max with T-Mobile. From what I remember of the X and past phones, this is the same or better. And that’s anecdotal, I haven’t tested actual numbers. I literally don’t feel a difference. I’m on 12.1.2 right now.

Am I the only one?
same here im on metropcs and its actually a little better than my iphone x.never drop call or signal loss.i just perform a speedtest just now on my wifi and its identical on my ipad 2018.

Same here. Exact symptoms. Not sure whether this is due to exactly what it says as not being available at the moment or a bug

TestFlight has been like that for me for awhile. Just hit “Try again” a few times and it takes awhile to load the app whenever to check for updates

Watch out if you have fave apps with VPN function due “ AdGuard Pro and Cloudflare 1.1.1.1” is not working anymore (it’s keep spinning also) after updating in this beta 2.

Oldie Iphone6 Plus and 7Plus user here.

Update: Easy troubleshooting by re-starting my units, save the day. IT’S NOW FUNCTIONING AGAIN, both apps.

Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 works fine here. XS Max and Latest beta.

Same here. Wifi speed on my 200 Mbps internet is 199,5 Mbps. And LTE is around 150 Mbps. So I don't see any problem.

I can’t say I’ve got a signal issue. I’m on EE in the Uk with an XS Max and signal and speed seems ok. However, often when I make calls, it says call failed or I just simply can’t hear anything at all, resorting to FaceTime Audio.

There is obviously a deeper underlying issue (hardware or software) as they’ve had 2 months to implement a fix and don’t seem to be getting anywhere.

12.1.3b2 .. XS Max 128.

I'm noticing an issue -- which was in the previous beta too (not sure about GA) where my photo library is slow to add a photo.

For example if I take a screenshot it will not appear in the camera roll for quite a while (30 mins+).
Immediately after a screenshot I can click on the bottom left preview to edit, but it will sit on 'preparing' or similar seemingly indefinately. Sometimes the preview doesn't appear.

Other apps seem fine, the phone is snappy. I'm on wifi. Mobile data is enabled for photo too, optimize phone storage, shared albums all enabled, but I did recently switch off photo stream

The photos do come up eventually. I also checked my mac and they are all there too (I'm using iCloud)

Selecting existing photos in apps tends to add a short freeze (10s) to the app too, so there does seem some issue more generally with photos in particular..

Not seeing any of those issues myself on my Max. Just tried now with a screenshot and it went straight into photos. I have the same settings with photo stream off.

So basically no improvements in this beta.. no real point of updating. They haven’t fixed any of the “remaining issues” and I doubt they plan on it. I think they are going hard on iOS 13... we will see a lot of new features in June/July

I know there is probably a thread on this somewhere but do the XR’s have the same problems with LTE/WiFi as the XS’s are?
dont think so. There is info out there regarding signal strength and antenna design and some testing that was done with the new ones and another one with the XR. The XR didn’t have the same issues.

I've never had reception issues with my XS Max until 12.1.2 beta 1. It was awful. Was very slow to connect back to LTE when on 4 g and half the time even with 3-4 bars of 4G I could not get data to load or it was slow. With 12.1.3 things are back to normal. I do have this annoying issue right when I unlock my phone and hit one of the icons such as messages text characters pop up briefly around the icon and it want open until a couple of tries or I wait. This happened on my iPhone X too so something I'm carrier over. Its fairly intermittent and I'm not quick enough to get a screen shot. I keep hoping it will get fixed eventually. If I turn on reduced motion it seems to not happen.
[doublepost=1545330678][/doublepost]I always reset network setting after every update but again I only connect to wifi at home.
Woa this build is a mess in terms of mobile data. At home I get 3 bars LTE, now 1 bar 3G LOL!!

Installed WatchOS 5.1.3 developer's Beta today. Noticed that the ECG complication does not appear on the watch face even when added in the watch app on the iPhone. The area where the ECG complication should appear remains OFF. Anyone else notice this on their Apple Watch Series 4?
I can confirm this is happening to me as well.

Not quite correct. My iPhone X’s modem firmware was 2.02.01 under iOS 12.1.2 beta 1 (a regression from 2.02.02 under 12.1.1 beta). Now under iOS 12.1.3 beta 2 modem firmware is 2.02.51.

That is an Intel modem, not Qualcomm, hence Qualcomm modem firmware remained unchanged 3.31.00 from iOS 12.1.2 beta 1
