IOS 12.2 disables health app fibrillation notifications on non supported regions..

Hi so I updated my iPhone to 12.2 but not my s4 watch to 5.2.

I’m currently in India so my usa bought watch ecg works. After 12.2 ios now it won’t let me set fibrillation notifications in the health app. It says not allowed in region! Ecg is still working however.

Can anyone who is in a non supported region confirm the above? Any work around this?

I am in Canada (non supported region), updated to ios 12.2 and watchos 5.2. ECG works and irregular rhythm setting in Heart Health settings of watch app works fine as well.
