I have not installed the public beta so this question is for those that have or otherwise know.

What I saw about the blocking of email senders in iOS 13 is that you have to create a contact for the sender you want to block and then block that contact. This seems counterintuitive to blocking spam/junk as I don’t want to make junk senders a contact but would like to avoid continued emails from senders filling up the junk email folder (as I do have to scan it for real emails that may have slipped in there before I empty). And in the past I logged into iCloud.com and made online (server-side) rules to move to trash emails from repeated junk senders. Which just fills up the deleted folder.

Anyone who can chime in on the blocking email feature in iOS 13, how it works, etc. That would be great.

Also, does Catalina feature a counterpart feature or are we now talking about managing junk senders from iOS rather than the desktop client?

Thanks for any info.
