Hi all,

I've installed the iOS 13 public beta on my secondary iPhone SE and so far I haven't been able to find a working external storage, the error I keep receiving is 'Accessory Unavailable - The attached accessory uses too much power'. Does anyone know a workaround? Will it work on iPad Pro 10.5 or iPhone Xs or will it require too much power there as well? Does it work only on usb-c iPads?

Thank you in advance for any comment you might have!

FYI, there are a number of threads on MR and videos on YouTube describing what people are finding. In short, you have not given us enough specifics to know what is going on here. But it is definitely true that with the additional power pass-through capacity with USB-C, you will have better luck with those iPads. For Lightening devices, you might want to first start with Apple’s official Lightening to USB 3.0 Camera adapter . . . that one seems to provide enough power and/or firmware compatibility for several devices—though clearly not all. Some third-party hubs seem to be working for some people, too.

Many Lightening adapters do not work.
