iPod touch iOS 13 on 7th. Generation iPod Touch?

According to iTunes 12.4.1 is the current software for my 7th. generation. I thought it was eligible for iOS 13? And if it is, any thoughts on whether or not I should?

On bottom of Apple’s website it mentions that the iPod Touch will update with iOS 13.1 on 9/24.
