ios 14 Translate feature for texting

I currently have a translator keyboard for english to spanish. I was wondering how the built in ios 14 translator works in texting as i dont see an option for translate on the keyboard. I looked at the settings and nothing there except the new translator icon on main screen.

Translate is only in Safari and in the Translate app.
