676 MB OTA for 13 Pro. Download took about 25 seconds. Impressive.

Edit: Preparing phase was waaaaaaay faster than normal. I like this. Fingers crossed that this just builds on the awesome that beta 3 was.

My HomePods are grabbing 15.1 today, no BETA profile on any of them. Has to be the first time a new feature release is being released as GA to HomePod before it's being released for iOS/iPadOS?

It actually claims that it's 15.1 BETA, I have no profile deployed on any of my HomePod's. Quite strange. Did Apple accidently put the 15.1 BETA release in the public release channel for HomePods?

What's an Apple card reader?

If anybody that's avoiding the betas (for whatever reason; not gonna get into that here) has anything they'd like checked let me know. My afternoon is pretty open.

Not seeing this for either my full-size HomePod nor my two minis — and I'm checking from an iPhone running the 15.1 beta, so it's most likely not iOS getting beta profiles confused either.

What does kernel date signify ?
Is kernel responsible for the user level bugs that we face or are these bugs not due to kernel ?

Have you ever had a beta profile on your HomePods? This happened to me as I had the beta profile for audioOS 15 on my HomePods but then removed the profile once 15 released to public. My HomePods then started downloading and installing 15.1 beta despite not having a beta profile on them. Seems it’s an issue with the profile not actually being removed from the device despite appearing so.
