Here's a new one, I have an iPhone 14 Pro that I just got last month. I've been putting off installing iOS 16.0.2 for no good reason - just haven't had the time and kept forgetting about it.

Went to install it just now and it looks like something got corrupted during the update process as I had a white apple screen saying "Swipe Up to Recover". I put in my passcode and it looks like its attempting to recover data now.

Searching through the forums, I haven't seen anything like this before. Guess I'm just one of the lucky ones.

I've seen that a few times when I updated via DFU or Apple Configurator 2.

Think it's somewhere I updated without typing in my password? Sth sth about encrypted data?

Wouldn't worry much as long as it's working
