I've just updated my iPhone 12 mini to iOS 16.0.2, but I don't see the battery percentage option to turn on. I only have Low Power mode. I thought it was supposed to have the battery percentage option?

The option is in 16.1, not 16.0.2.
16.0.2 here on my 13 Pro Max!

Battery percentage shows as you can see

Just updating it to iOS Beta though now

You see the percent option because you have a Max. The OP has a mini. Mini’s do not get the option to show the battery percent until 16.1.
I have 16.0.2, so it should still be available, but isn’t. I don’t know how to get back to 16.1

I’m not sure I understand. The option to display the battery percent is not available for the mini models on iOS 16.0.2. Since you have a mini you can’t display the battery percent until iOS 16.1 is released. The only way to see the percent is to pull down on command center.

iOS 16.1 is still in beta testing stages. You can’t update to it unless you have the beta profile installed. Or you wait until it is released to the public.

@spikeymike but you're saying that the option to display the % isn't available until 16.1, so why do you say it isn't available for the mini models on 16.0.2. Do you mean they removed the option again?

how is your mini on ios 16.. i just updated from 14.4 to 15.7 and i have the feeling that is not fast as 14.

I thought I was pretty clear when I wrote it twice before.

All mini models never had the option to display the percent unlike the larger models on iOS 16 or 16.0.2. The option was never available on mini models.

Beginning with 16.1 mini models will be able to display the percent.

16.02 is less than 16.1, therefore, you have to wait until 16.1 is released.
16.02, 16.03, 16.04, 16.05, 16.06, 16.07, 16.08, 16.09, 16.10

I had two update options, 15.7 was one of them I think. Then it gave me the latter. I went for the latter.
