I typically keep my devices muted.
This one is different... iPhone 14Pro Running iOS 16.1 Beta 1(20B5045d).
I have kept the sound off until yesterday when I enabled the start up tone feature.
Also, Im usually wirelessly charging and the device does not make this same sound when doing so, however, I plugged into an actual charger this morning and was met with this weird sound. first two connects were to an iMac Running Ventura... To rule out the connection between the 2 devices. I have fast charging cords placed around the home (The wife likes direct connections). Connecting to these produces the same sound..
Has anyone else heard this?It also randomly makes the same noise while being plugged in. It appears to make the same noise every percentage the device reaches..... Turning the Power on & Off Sounds does not turn off the weird noise.

Yep, sounds like that camera issue. Check to see if the camera lens is moving the next time you hear it happen. (...and why would it be doing that when the camera isn't even being used?)

You can hear the same sound in Luke Miani's video in that article, starting at 9:52 and again at 10:25.

I have no idea. It seems to make the noise every percentage it reaches.. I ended up turning the phone off. Headed to the Apple Store later on to let them check it out.

I'm having the same issue. Was on ios16.1 beta 1 and now on beta 2. At lease the GPS is fixed...

What ended up happening?

If anyone is having this issue I'd suggest trying to install 16.0.2 which is supposed to stop the camera from rattling.

Wiped the device clean, deleted the profile and re-installed, updated and everything appears to be working properly now. I had to restore it for them to fully test the device and was deemed as a software issue.
