Prior to updating to iOS16, my iPhone 11 Pro Max would get about 15 hours of HEAVY use before needing a charge. Includes FaceTime, Youtube, texting, phone calls, browsing and lots of game play.

After iOS 16, I am 5 hours into the day with 0 games, 0 FaceTime, 0 Youtube, 0 game play, couple texts and a phone call and my phone battery is at 48%.

under battery settings, I now have "SERVICE REQUIRED" magically after the update. WTF is this BS.

So my phones been charging for 25 min. I got 12% charge.

I thought my 11Pro ate battery fast after the update to 16. A few things…. I could swear several apps I had set to no background data have switched back to eating background data. Saw improvement after checking and resetting them. I am also having slower wifi connect issues (which might possibly explain battery being eaten).

Switching my phone to battery saver dramatically helped with battery problems.
