The Equalizer for Apple Music seems to be broken or buggy, least for me? Basically what’s happening is some songs and pieces aren’t balanced while others are just fine. One entire album of the Mamas and the Papas, REM, Classical pieces (varies), etc.. keep becoming garbled or turned into some weird karaoke sounding thing with the background music being brought out over the actual voices or instruments.

I never turn on the equalizer stuff. Compared settings between iPad and iPhones in the house that are not on iOS 16. Tried redownloading the tracks and albums. Nada. These are things I’ve bought from iTunes years ago so it ruled out whether they were personal uploads via iMac and CDs or downloads from the iTunes Store.

I’ve had this issue with Apple Music since the DP 2 and latest PB for iOS 16 and wondered if anybody else has been seeing this issue? Have reported it but Apple Developers do not quite comprehend the issues for some reasons and cannot address it.

I wear a hearing aid and already had them checked. Sounds fine on all other devices so it’s not that.
