iOS 16 not able to take calls on MacBook Pro

I've been having a problem with using my MacBook Pro macOS 12.5.1 as a speaker phone for my iPhone running on the latest public 16.0 beta. A call will come in, the phone will ring, and a popup notification appears on the MacBook to accept the call. I click answer, but it seems to lose the call during the handoff. The call is dropped.

I've reported it to Apple Beta, but is anyone else experiencing the same issues?
