I’m trying to download the French language for the iOS Translate app on my iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 17.4 and it isn’t progressing at all. I tried WiFi and cellular. I also tried restarting my iPhone. I tried downloading a language in Google translate and that worked fine. It took a few seconds.
Two other people with me are also trying to download other languages for the translate app on their iPhones via Wifi and it’s not progressing either.
I downloaded 2 languages about a month or two ago (so before 17.4) and that worked. It seems like downloading languages is broken on iOS 17.4.
Can anyone download a language?

So it is downloading, just really slowly. It’s moving about 5% every 15 minutes. Not sure why it’s taking so long as the Google Translate app downloaded an 84 MB language in seconds.
