Ios 17 device requirements speculation

Hey guys what devices do you think will make the cut this year for iPhone and ipad. I predict iphone xs and up, and ipad 8th gen and ipad mini 5 and up. What are your guys thoughts. Please write back.

I'm hoping for at least A10/A10X iPads and iPhone 8/X as minimum for 17. But honestly it's hard to guess, the X has been excluded a lot by Apple feature-wise compared to everything newer.

I'm hoping 8/X will make the cut too. I'm also hoping Apple focuses on stability and bugs in iOS17 instead of introducing new features. iOS16 is still full of bugs/stability issues and some of them have been around since it's introduction. If they can't offer a stable version of iOS16 with minimal bugs to leave the 8's and X on it would be a damn shame..

Given that Apple dropped 2 generations of iPhones (6s/7) with iOS 16 and they kept those models supported for 2 versions more than expected. I expect this year, the requirements will be the same. (A11 powered iPhone 8/8+/X and up.)
Maybe the iPad would stay the same? (A9 iPad/iPad Pro and up.)
