Has anyone got access to iOS 18 (betas) as yet and know if the Adaptive HDR standard has been implemented?

Keen to see if with it enabled, whether the iPhone 15 Pro will now take 10-bit HEIF images instead of 8-bit using the native camera app?

It makes no sense. Apple's HEIFs contain gain maps, which allows for both easy compatibility with SDR 8-bit tech, and on compatible HDR display allows for synthesis of images with effectively higher dynamic range than one available for 8-bit pics.
